June 27, 2019After experiencing a rather difficult time getting my daughter’s needs met at another dental office, I went to Dr. Childress’s office. His staff was welcoming and proficient with reception and billing details immediately. The Dentist was able to complete her work within a week versus our two month wait at her old office. Extremely pleased with all levels of care and thoroughness. Would refer anyone to see these guys.

October 9, 2018IT'S TRUE! When have you ever looked at reviews and seen nothing but 5 star reviews. My recent experience was losing a crown Christmas eve. I called Christmas morning expecting to leave a message, but I was forwarded to Dr. Childress' cell phone, he answered, and within the hour I had my crown (from my previous dentist) fixed! And he didn't even ask "what did you eat?" Answer: some caramel that I shouldn't have eaten:) Also, this office runs like a top. My only regret is I didn't find this place sooner.

At my appointment to have my teeth cleaned, the hygienist was ready for me on time, was very competent, friendly, courteous, and professional. This is exactly the excellent service that I have received from this practice for more than 20 years.

Compassionate, thoughtful, intentional and mindful. Everything thing that everyone does is patient-focused. I recommend this office to as many people as I can despite location. Well worth any drive. Dr Childress and Dr Alasaad are remarkable.
What impressed me the most is how they speak about their patients when they’re not there..... positive and supportive. This doesn’t happen in life nearly enough.

Best care and genuine concern for maintaining your dental health. Their technical tools are always up to date, another demonstration of excellent service. When needed patient education on improved hygiene (flossing, brushing technique, etc) is done with encouragement rather than negative comments. All good!

Best dentist in the north state! I started out as Dr. Jim's patient while a student, and over 30 years later, even though I live over 100 miles away, I drive to Davis for my dental care. I recently had a tooth break, and the office got me in the same day. Excellent staff and hygeinists too!
Never will you meet a more genuine and integrity driven dentist office. Dr. Childress and the people who work with him are approachable, caring, sensitive, and complete masters in their field. We are very happy to have found them.
I have been going to Dr. Childress and his incredible staff for over 25 years. He is an honest, thorough and meticulous dentist and I feel so lucky that he has been there to take care of my teeth all of this time! I have lived in Lake Tahoe for the past 4 years and decided that the commute to Dr. Childress is well worth my time and effort. And I love Debi, our hygienist, too! The staff is all warm, welcoming and incredibly professional. Truly an amazing dental practice overall.
